This section answers the most important questions about shopping in the Autotestgeräte Leitenberger Online Shop. Our offerings are exclusively for commercial customers (workshops, commercial vehicle and agricultural machinery businesses, manufacturers, dealers). Orders from private customers are not possible.
Ordering & Account
Who can order from the shop?
Orders are exclusively for commercial customers. Our product range is aimed at workshops, manufacturers, dealers, and businesses in the areas of automotive special tools, vehicle diagnostics, measurement technology, and workshop equipment. Orders from private customers are excluded.
How does the ordering process work?
- Select items (e.g., test equipment, workshop equipment, diagnostic tools) and add them to the shopping cart.
- In the checkout, enter company/billing address and VAT ID.
- Select payment method.
- Submit the order bindingly. You will immediately receive an order confirmation by email.
Can I change or cancel my order later?
As long as the order has not yet been processed, changes or cancellations can be made. Please contact us immediately with your order number. Once the shipping process has started, changes are no longer possible.
Do I need a customer account?
No, you can also order as a guest. However, a customer account offers advantages such as order history, saved delivery addresses, and faster reorders.
Prices & Payment
What payment methods are available?
We offer secure payment methods: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro), PayPal, Klarna. These methods allow for quick and secure processing of your order for workshop equipment and testing devices.
Are the prices in the shop with or without VAT?
All prices are net prices plus the applicable statutory VAT. This will be shown at checkout and on the invoice.
Do I have to order with a VAT ID?
Yes. For orders within the EU by companies with a valid VAT ID, invoicing will be done according to the applicable regulations.
Delivery & Shipping
Which countries do you deliver to?
We deliver within Germany and to many EU countries. You can select your delivery country at checkout. This ensures that workshops throughout Europe quickly receive our testing devices and diagnostic tools.
Which shipping service providers do you use?
Depending on product size and destination country, we use reliable parcel services or freight forwarders. You will receive a tracking link with the shipping confirmation.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times are indicated on the product page and shown at checkout. Within Germany, shipping usually takes 1–3 business days after dispatch. Deliveries abroad take correspondingly longer.
Can I change the delivery address later?
Yes, as long as your order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us with your order number.
Returns & Warranty
Is there a right of return or withdrawal?
No. As we sell exclusively to commercial customers, there is no statutory right of withdrawal or return. Please check your order carefully before submitting it.
What to do in case of damaged delivery or defect?
Please document the damage (photos) and contact us immediately with your order number. For faulty or defective workshop equipment and testing devices, the statutory warranty rights for commercial customers apply.

Where can I see the availability of a product?
Current availability ("in stock" or "out of stock") is displayed directly on the product page.
Do you offer special solutions or spare parts?
Yes. Many measuring and testing devices are configurable, and we also supply accessories and spare parts. Contact us with your serial or item number.
