This section answers the most important questions about purchasing from the Leitenberger Autotestgeräte online shop. Our offerings are aimed exclusively at commercial customers (repair shops, commercial vehicle and agricultural machinery companies, manufacturers, and dealers). Private customer orders are not accepted.
Order & Account
Who can order from the shop?
Orders are only available to commercial customers. Our product range is aimed at workshops, manufacturers, dealers, and companies specializing in automotive tools, vehicle diagnostics, measurement technology, and workshop equipment. Private customers are excluded.
How does the ordering process work?
- Select items (e.g. test equipment, workshop equipment, diagnostic tools) and place them in the shopping cart.
- Enter your company/billing address and VAT ID during checkout.
- Select payment method.
- Submit your binding order. You will immediately receive an order confirmation via email.
Can I change or cancel my order later?
Changes or cancellations can be made as long as the order is not yet being processed. Please contact us immediately with your order number. Once the shipping process has begun, changes are no longer possible.
Do I need a customer account?
No, you can also order as a guest. However, a customer account offers advantages such as order history, saved delivery addresses, and faster reordering.
Prices & Payment
What payment methods are available?
We offer secure payment methods: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro), PayPal, and Klarna. These methods ensure quick and secure processing of your order for workshop equipment and testing devices.
Are the prices in the shop including or excluding VAT?
All prices are net prices plus applicable VAT. This will be shown during checkout and on the invoice.
Do I need to order with a VAT ID number?
Yes. For orders within the EU from companies with a valid VAT ID number, invoicing will be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
Delivery & Shipping
Which countries do you deliver to?
We ship within Germany and to many EU countries. You can select your delivery country during checkout. This ensures that workshops across Europe receive our test equipment and diagnostic tools quickly.
Which shipping service providers do you use?
Depending on the product size and destination country, we use reliable parcel services or freight forwarders. You will receive a tracking link with your shipping confirmation.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times are specified with the product and displayed during checkout. Within Germany, shipping typically takes 1–3 business days after dispatch. Deliveries abroad take correspondingly longer.
Can I change the delivery address later?
Yes, as long as your order hasn't been shipped yet. Please contact us with your order number.
Return & Warranty
Is there a right of return or cancellation?
No. Since we sell exclusively to commercial customers, there is no statutory right of withdrawal or return. Please check your order carefully before submitting.
What should I do if the delivery is damaged or defective?
Please document the damage (photos) and contact us immediately with your order number. The statutory warranty rights for commercial customers apply to faulty or defective workshop equipment and testing devices.

Where can I see the availability of a product?
The current availability (“in stock” or “out of stock”) is displayed directly on the product page.
Do you offer special solutions or spare parts?
Yes. Many measuring and testing devices are configurable, and we also supply accessories and spare parts. Contact us with your serial or item number.
