CO2 cylinder head leak test tester with quick connector

The CO₂ leak test device LT 200.2 is the professional solution for visualizing CO₂ leaks in the cooling system in the event of a defective cylinder head gasket!

Function & area of application

With the help of the two-chamber technology, the measurement accuracy is significantly increased and a reliable detection of CO₂ in the cooling water is possible – a clear indicator of a defective cylinder head gasket or damage to the cylinder head .

The application is extremely simple: The tester is connected to suitable radiator adapters (type K.., KS.. or UA..) from Leitenberger Autotestgeräte via the integrated quick coupling.

Visible leak detection

By pressing the rubber bulb, gas is drawn from the cooling system into the test chambers. Upon contact with CO₂, the reaction fluid reliably displays a color change.

• Otto engines: Reaction fluid changes color from blue to yellow upon contact with CO₂.
• Diesel engines: Color change from blue to green.
• The change is gradual – ideal for detecting even the smallest leaks.

The device is supplied including a bottle of reaction fluid LT 02 and is designed for permanent workshop use.
