Rim flange cleaner

The rim support and centering ring grinder was specially developed for the thorough cleaning of the inner contact surface of aluminium rims as well as the centering bore (Ø min. 52 mm).

Corrosion, deposits and oxidation are removed by grinding, but in a way that is gentle on the material – for a flat contact surface and a secure fit of rim and wheel.

Precise cleaning for correct torque

Clean contact surfaces are crucial for achieving the correct tightening torques. Corrosion on the rim mounting surface can lead to:

• Falsification of the wheel tightening torque

• Vibrations due to imbalance

• Loosening of the wheel bolts
