High-Voltage Battery Diagnostic Set (Starter Package)
High-Voltage Battery Diagnostic Set (Starter Package)
Couldn't load pickup availability
The complete solution for direct entry into professional HV battery checks. The HVBD 01_LR starter package includes the necessary hardware, connectivity and annual license, and a total of 20 battery tests. Workshops, car dealerships, and professional vehicle appraisers can directly offer SoH read-outs and drive tests on supported electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
Included in the starter package
Hardware
- Dongle
- OBD cable
- ONLY-CAN adapter
- Antenna
- Transport case
The external antenna supports a stable mobile connection of the system and is particularly helpful in poor reception conditions or shielded installation situations. It thus ensures reliable data transmission between HVBD 01_LR and the digital test environment.
Connectivity & License
- HVBD 01_LR connectivity & license
- Duration: 1 year
- Digital use via the BattCheck App
Battery Checks
- 10 SoH Checks
- 10 Drive Checks
- A total of 20 battery checks
Two Checks for Different Requirements
SoH Test
- The SoH Check enables a quick SoH read-out while stationary.
- The battery data provided by the vehicle or Battery Management System is read out. A test drive is not required.
- A digital SoH report is then available.
Drive Test
- The Drive Check enables a more extensive drive test with static and dynamic battery data.
- During a short acceleration drive, the behavior of the high-voltage battery under load is recorded.
- The evaluation is based on the patented DEKRA testing procedure. A digital SoH battery certificate is available upon completion.
- Easy operation via the BattCheck App
Purchase additional checks as needed
After using the included checks, additional ones can be purchased
- 10 SoH Checks
- 10 Drive Checks or
- 10 SoH Checks + 10 Drive Checks
can be purchased separately. This allows you to buy the necessary battery checks according to actual demand.
Ideal for
- Car repair shops
- Car dealerships
- Used car trade
- Vehicle purchase and trade-in
- Lease returns
- Vehicle fleets
- Professional vehicle appraisal
How battery testing works – it's that simple
1. Connect HVBD 01_LR: Connect the dongle to the vehicle interface via the OBD2 cable and start the system.
2. Start BattCheck App: Select the vehicle and enter the required vehicle data.
3. Select testing procedure: Depending on the vehicle and desired testing depth, choose between SoH Read-Out and Drive Test.
4. Record battery data: For the SoH Read-Out, the relevant BMS data is automatically read out while stationary. For the Drive Test, static battery data is first recorded. This is followed by a short acceleration drive, during which dynamic battery readings are continuously recorded. A distance of approximately 100 meters is required for this.
5. Receive results: After completion of the test, digital evaluation takes place:
- SoH Read-Out → digital SoH report
- Drive Test → SoH battery certificate
The results can be provided by email or in the BattCheck App.
6. Document or share results: The report or certificate can be used to document the battery condition and, for example, used for vehicle appraisals, purchases, sales, or customer consultations.
Note on vehicle coverage
Not every vehicle supports both testing procedures. Depending on the vehicle model, an SoH Read-Out, a Drive Test, or the execution of both testing procedures may be possible. Please check the current vehicle coverage before use.
You can read the mileage. You should measure the battery condition.
