Fill cooling systems quickly, controlled and largely bubble-free using vacuum

The KVB 01 radiator vacuum filling device with quick coupling is a professional vacuum filling device for evacuating, testing and subsequently filling vehicle cooling systems. After repairs, maintenance work or a coolant change, air may be present in the cooling circuit. The KVB 01 therefore initially creates a vacuum in the cooling system using a Venturi nozzle and 6 to 10 bar workshop compressed air. 

If the created vacuum remains stable during the testing phase, the prepared coolant can then be drawn in through the existing negative pressure. This supports a quick and largely bubble-free filling of the cooling system. At the same time, the vacuum holding phase allows for a check of the vacuum stability. A significant drop in vacuum can indicate a leak in the cooling system or in the connected test setup.

The KVB 01 is therefore particularly suitable for workshops that want to efficiently evacuate, bleed and refill cooling systems after repair or coolant change.

Flexible adaptation to different vehicles

The KVB 01 can be used with the LEITENBERGER radiator test adapters of the K, KS and KW series. In addition, the universal adapter UA 2 can be used for radiator openings from 27 to 42 mm. The quick coupling allows different adapters to be changed quickly. This is particularly practical for multi-brand workshops that test and fill cooling systems from different vehicle manufacturers.

For combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles

Vacuum filling is suitable for numerous different vehicle cooling systems.

In addition to conventional combustion engine vehicles, the KVB 01 can also be used for suitable cooling and thermal management circuits of:

Modern vehicles may have several separate cooling circuits. The prescribed coolant, the suitable connection and, if necessary, additional required bleeding or diagnostic procedures are therefore always determined by the respective vehicle manufacturer's specifications.

For particularly sensitive special coolants, for example certain low-conductivity coolants, it must additionally be checked whether the filling device and the media-contact components are suitable for the specific medium.
