Universal adapter for cooling system UA 1

The UA1 universal adapter is suitable as a sealing plug for the radiator or expansion tank during a pressure test of the cooling system. For openings with a diameter of 21 to 38 mm.

Application :

• Remove the radiator cap after pressure release.
• Press the sealing rubber of the universal adapter UA... into the opening.
• With universal adapters featuring a handle system, pressing the handles into a horizontal position creates the holding force.
• With a universal adapter featuring a handwheel, a locking mechanism is achieved by turning the upper handwheel clockwise.
• Connect the cooling system tester TVU to the coupling nipple and begin the pressure test.
• During the pressure test, ensure that the end of the rubber seal does not immerse in the coolant, otherwise coolant will leak out when the test pressure is released; if necessary, lower the fluid level beforehand.
